13-year-old Tyasia Jackson stabbing death of her 2-year-old half sister. She confessed stabbing Shasha to her step father Shelton Ray in a phone call from jail.

Tyasia was caught with a boy inside the house while her parents were running errands.Ray, told a reporter that a neighbor went to the home and ordered the boy to leave after finding him hiding in a closet. Tyasia may have been angry with the 2-year-old for pointing out the the boy’s hiding place to the neighbor.

Ray said after the neighbor left the home, Tyasia instructed her siblings to go upstairs — except for Sasha. The teen took Sasha toward the back door and stabbed her 7 times in the heart area. She then threw the child’s body off a balcony into the back yard.

Ray said Tyasia made up a false story to explain Sasha’s disappearance from the home.

“She called my wife and told her Sasha was missing. She actually tried to blame it on the neighbor. She said she thought the neighbor took Sasha with her,” Ray said.

Ray said Tyasia helped search for Sasha before he discovered the toddler’s mutilated body in the back yard. “I picked her up and immediately came to the front and got in the car,” said Ray. “We were going to take her to the hospital and she died in my arms at the entrance of the community,” Ray said.

Father Orally Rapes Her 15-Week-Old Daughter To Death

A father has been found guilty of killing his 15-week-old daughter while he was orally raping her.

Steven Deuman Jr, 26, of Suttons Bay near Traverse City, was convicted of first-degree murder and aggravated sexual assault after jurors – who were subjected to disturbing testimony and photos – took less than an hour to convict him.

Evelynne Deuman was found in the bedroom of their mobile home bleeding from the nose, unconscious and not breathing.

Deuman wasted valuable time from the moment he found his baby daughter until he called an ambulance.

He later told her mother Natasha Maitland that she had choked on a used condom.

Throughout the trial, he maintained he put his daughter on the bed while he went outside for a cigarette. When he came back she was lying on the floor not breathing with the discarded condom in her mouth.

Subsequent tests showed the DNA on the outside belonged to the baby and on the inside belonged to Deuman.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Phil Green told jurors that Deuman killed the girl during the oral rape, and then he considered scenarios throughout the evening to suggest she died of an accidental cause.

He didn’t call 911, but told Maitland on the telephone that their daughter wasn’t breathing, wasting valuable time which could have saved her life.

He faces life in prison.

Green said yesterday: ‘This was a very difficult case for anyone to have to hear.

‘This is about as heinous as it gets. That’s a tragic reality here. He did do it.

‘A beautiful 15-week-old baby girl lost her life, lost her future, because of his need for sexual gratification.’

He applauded the baby’s mother Natasha for testifying on behalf of the prosecution, despite ‘having to endure a loss no one should ever have to endure’.

According to Michigan Live, he told jurors: ‘This was no accident. She couldn’t roll over, much less crawl.

‘She certainly wasn’t capable of overcoming the obstacles on her bed, the pillows, to end up on the floor. Even if (she did), how is she going to suck that condom up?’

Finally, he said: ‘It’s hard to imagine anything more objectionable than the oral rape of a 15-week-old baby.’

Jurors also heard from witnesses who, as children, claimed they also were sexually abused by Deuman.

The defense attorney argued that his client was a proud father and that the mobile home they shared with ten other people was an ‘accident waiting to happen.’

He said prosecutors unfairly portrayed his client as an ‘unbridled sex fiend’.

Heroes – 4-Year-Old Boy Drowns After HE SAVES LIFE Of 3-Year-Old Girl Who Fell Into Pool

The parents of Xander Vento, the little boy who nearly drowned saving another child at a neighborhood pool far North Fort Worth earlier this week, says they are taking their son off of life support.

Cris and Misty Vento released the following statement Thursday:

"We’ve made the extremely difficult decision to remove our precious son Xander from life support. We send heartfelt thanks to all of you who kept our family in your thoughts and prayers; we’re appreciative of your love and support.

We in some way hope our son’s life serves as an inspiration. He was the angel in the pool who sacrificed himself to save another. And now he continues to give as an organ donor. We were blessed to have such a kind and caring boy as Xander who set an example for all of us and even now he will be saving lives by giving of himself."

Xander, 4, held a struggling 3-year-old girl above the water and nearly drowned in the process. After he was pulled from the water, he was hospitalized and fell into a coma.

On Thursday, his parents decided to remove him from life support and donate his organs.

Parents jailed after their 18-month-old daughter Kayla died after they left her strapped in car seat inside boiling house

The parents of an 18-month-old girl who died after left strapped in a car seat in a hot room for several hours have been sentenced to time behind bars.

Authorities say Kimberly and Jacob Taschler’s daughter Kayla died after left without food or water for 16 hours in their Palmerton, 

Pennsylvania home in 2010.

A judge on Thursday sentenced Kimberly Taschler, 30, to 14 months to 3 1/2 years in prison while her husband, 36, was sentenced to 11 months to two years.

Both parents cried in Carbon County court on Thursday. Kimberly Taschler said she was overwhelmed at the time of the baby's death and didn't seek proper help. 

Authorities had alleged that the Taschlers had long neglected Kayla even before her death in January. 

She was found weighing just 13lbs when her mother brought her to Palmerton Hospital. Police believe she had been dead for several hours before arriving.

In July of this year prosecutors said that Kayla had missed doctors' appointments, had suffered excessive weight and muscle loss and was not properly provided with fluids and food.

 In court Jacob Tashler said he loves all his children, having two others who are currently in foster care since Kayla's death.

 

Prosecutors say the mother received a longer sentence because she was home when the baby died and was her primary caretaker.

Both pleaded guilty to charges in July - Jacob Tashler to endangering the welfare of a child and Kimberly Tashler to involuntary manslaughter and endangering the welfare of a child.

Little Girl Stands Outside Classroom Window Every Day

 

Seeing the child’s longing, I can’t stop the tears from flowing down my face. What kind of society is this, that would let such little child suffer such unfairness and discrimination? In China, the education system has never been fair. Talk about human rights are all lies...

This story was posted to on October 14th 2008. Someone reported that a pupil at the Binhe Road Primary School in Dengfeng City [in Henan province] has been standing outside the classroom to listen to lessons for over 20 days, suspecting that the teacher was punishing the student.

 After hearing the class bell ring, the students entered the classroom one by one. However, under the classroom window for Class 1-3, a little girl carrying a backpack said goodbye to the schoolmates who talk to her. She grabbed the steel bar of the window with both hands and looked into the classroom uninterrupted. After reporter’s inquiry, the little girl is called Guo Xiaoxiao (name changed), from Wangzhuang Village nearby / of Dengfeng City, and 6-years-old this year. She used to attend class in this room but, for reasons unknown, she was kicked out of class. Not wanting to leave the school and still wanting to study, she could only stand under the window to listen to the lessons.

 When Xiaoxiao’s father Guo Zhanchao arrived shortly later, seeing his daughter standing outside the window listening to class, he was unable to hold back his sobs. He told (to the reporter) that he pedals three-wheel carts (carrying goods) for a living. Originally, he knew the Binhe Road School Headmaster Zhao. 

At the start of the school year, unable to find a school that would admit his child, he borrowed and gathered 500 RMB and gave it to Headmaster Zhao. Mr Zhao immediately agreed to admit Guo Xiaoxiao to the school, but later Mr Zhao delayed and delayed until the afternoon of September 10th when Mr Guo’s daughter was finally assigned to Class 1-3. 

But good things do not last; on September 18th, the daughter who had been attending school for only a few days said to her father while crying that the teacher would no longer let her into class, and that she could only stand outside the window to listen to lessons. Soon after, Guo Zhanchao went almost daily to the school to see the headmaster, but Headmaster Zhao only agreed to return the money and did not plan on arranging Guo Xiaoxiao to attend school.

Guo Zhanchao said with tears, “I suffered my whole life because I don’t have an education, and today can only depend on pedaling a three-wheel cart to raise my family with difficulty. I just want my daughter to learn some knowledge, so she can have a happy life later.”

Mr Zhao, headmaster of Binhe Road Primary School, commented on the incident saying that he is unfairly blamed. He said Guo Zhanchao and him knew each other from before, that he did indeed receive the 500 RMB money that Guo forcefully left in his office, but he later returned the money to Guo. 

Regarding letting Guo Xiaoxiao’s attend school, he can only feel sorry for their family’s situation, but could not arrange for her to attend school simply because they gave him a gift. Later, he could not do anything against the exclusion of Xiaoxiao. “That was handled in accordance to the relevant regulations of the Department of Education. She is the child of a peasant who migrated to the city for work, not a pupil of this area.”

Russian mother killed her two sons, aged 4 and 7, by throwing them from 15th-floor balcony because she was ‘fed up’ with their behaviour

A mother has been arrested after allegedly throwing her two young sons to their deaths from a 15th-floor balcony because she was 'fed up' with them.

Galina Ryabkova, 30, was seen looking emotionless on surveillance video taken from the block of flats in Moscow, Russia, in the moments following the incident.

Neighbours in the complex were alerted after hearing the bodies of the boys, aged 4 and 7, hitting the ground.

Despite the efforts of neighbours, the youngsters died before the emergency services arrived.

According to RT, the woman said she was 'fed up with children,' and 'decided to get rid of them'.

The woman - whose husband was away on a business trip - lived on the 8th floor of the building and it is believed she took the children to the 15th floor before throwing them of.

Grandmother CHOPPED OFF Hands Of Her 8-Month-Old Granddaughter

An 8-month-old baby girl is recovering in the hospital after having both her hands chopped off by her own grandmother!

The horrific incident took place while the baby’s parents were in China for work and she was under the care of her grandmother.

It is uncertain what the grandmother’s motives were as she is currently in a coma after she attempted to kill herself.

In a report with the Daily Mail, a neighbor who witnessed the aftermath of the crime said, ” I saw the woman (the baby’s mother) came back home after work in the early afternoon but only 10 minutes later she dashed down holding her baby, who was covered with blood.”

The neighbor continued, “The baby’s hands were gone.”

According to the neighbor, the mother of the baby called her husband and said, “the baby’s hands were chopped off by her mother, who also chopped herself, trying to commit suicide.”

It is unknown if the baby girl’s hands can be saved after doctors carried out a 12-hour operation in an attempt to re-attach them.

Newborn baby girl discarded in bin and left to die in plastic bag with her throat cut

An abandoned newborn baby is recovering in hospital after having her throat cut, being put in a plastic bag and thrown into a garbage bin in China's Liaoning province.

The female baby - so newborn that her placenta and umbilical cord were still attached - was discovered by a man who was searching a bin for recyclables. 

Local residents called police and the tiny girl was taken to hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.

A resident who witnessed the girl being taken to hospital said: 'She was still breathing and had a heartbeat. Blood from the wound stained the whole body.'

Doctors worked to close a two-inch wound across her neck, so deep that it went down to her windpipe.

 A doctor at the hospital said that had the cut been any deeper at all 'she would have died instantly'.

 The girl was found in Anshan city, in northeast China. She is believed to be a victim of the country's notorious one child policy - and seems to confirm the long-held belief that parents upon which this restriction is imposed prefer boys. Infanticide of 'guilt children' is still a problem in rural areas but it is rare in cities, where children are usually abandoned but not killed. 

The baby's fate has horrified China. The girl, who is yet to be named, was spotted when a collectibles scavenger saw what he thought was a dead baby in a bag.

 He told police that the child was purple and had not moved until he examined the bag more closely – not convinced that it was a real baby.

Doctors said that baby had been born premature and was probably between 32 and 34 weeks old, weighing just three pounds. Medics said that once the baby had recovered it would be put in a children's home.

RESCUE DOG KILLS AND DISMEMBERS 2-MONTH-OLD BABY

A two-month-old (Aiden McGrew) was killed and dismembered by a dog in his family's South Carolina home as his father slept, authorities said Friday.

Chantel (his mother) called 911 when she got home around 11am from a doctor's appointment and discovered Aiden's leg was severed.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office said the boy was attacked and dismembered by a recently rescued retriever. 

The dog that killed Aiden, seen at the local law enforcement centre, was recently adopted by the family

Dorchester County Coroner Mr. Chris Nisber said the boy was bitten and dismembered. He hopes an autopsy scheduled for Saturday will determine if the boy was dead before the dog dismembered him. Baby Aiden died at the hospital shortly after he arrived.

FATHER BATTERS 3-MONTHS OLD DAUGHTER FOR NOT BEING A BOY

Baby Nehan Afreen, only 3 months old, died on 11 April 2012, morning in Bangalore after her father Omar Farooq, 25, tortured her for not being a boy.

Omar Farooq was arrested late on Sunday night. The 25-year-old, an unskilled worker in a paint shop in the densely populated Shivajinagar area in the heart of the Karnataka capital, is said to be an alcoholic who regularly abused his wife and child.

He faces charges of attempt to murder and female infanticide. Sources said after thrashing the baby with his hands, Farooq had even tried to suffocate her with a pillow.

Afreen was rushed to Bowring Hospital and later to Vanivilas Hospital after she slipped into coma on Sunday.

Afreen’s maternal grandmother Majboorbi couldn’t hold back tears as she stood outside the ICU. “How could he beat up a baby so sweet?” said the mother of four daughters who has no doubt who the culprit is. “Even my daughter has endured a lot since he just wanted money and always harassed her for more dowry.”

Mother Murders Her Three Young Daughters In Horrific Murder-Suicide At Campsite

Christine Adewunmi, 37, and her daughters 8-year-old Lauren, 6-year-old Samantha and 3-year-old Kate were discovered at the Blue Springs Ranch & Resort near Bourbon, Mo., about 80 miles southwest of St. Louis, after Adewunmi's husband Mr. Leonard Adewunmi had reported them missing on Firday. The mother killed her daughters and then turned the gun on herself.

Leonard Adewunmi told law enforcement that his wife had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, was depressed and unexpectedly left the home with their children on two prior occasions. He said Christine Adewunmi and their three children were home when Leonard left for work at 5:30 a.m. Friday but were not there when he returned at 6 p.m.

A report filed by Leonard Adewunmi also stated that he believed his wife potentially was suicidal due to her depression, and that she had been researching ways to commit suicide online.

The Crawford County Sheriff's Department reported that a box believed to be used to store the handgun was found in the vehicle. The weapon which police believe was used for the shootings was found at the scene along with four empty cartridges. A background check with the registry maintained by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives revealed that the weapon was purchased from a St. Louis area business on February 21.

2 CHILDREN FOUND LIVING INSIDE ABANDONED SCHOOL BUS AFTER PARENTS WENT TO JAIL

The abandoned school bus had no engine and no front wheels. But there were crude curtains in the windows, an air conditioner and even bunk beds. So when a postal worker peered inside, it became clear that two children had been living for more than two months in the dilapidated vehicle at the end of a muddy, one-lane road.

Now child welfare agents are trying to unravel the story of the siblings, ages 5 and 11, who apparently began staying in the bus with an aunt after their parents went to prison.

The postal carrier discovered the children Wednesday near Houston, and the two were swiftly placed in foster care while authorities investigate. Their parents were convicted of embezzling money from Hurricane Ike victims in 2008, and the kids are not enrolled in school.

Randal McCann, a Louisiana attorney who represented the children’s mother prior to her sentencing, said the aunt had been taking care of the kids since the case against the parents was launched more than a year ago.

“It was believed by everybody involved in this case that (the aunt) was properly tending to those children. What I saw in the newspaper this morning was shocking,” McCann said, referring to a report in the Houston Chronicle. McCann said the aunt would often contact him but only to discuss the criminal case and not the well-being of the children. “But there was no indication that the living conditions were as bad as those photographs,” McCann said.

The children’s mother, Sherrie Shorten, is scheduled to be freed in April after serving time for her role in the scam involving federal loans offered to hurricane victims.

An Associated Press reporter visited the site Thursday. The bus appeared to have electricity, and outside there was a small propane tank and homemade grill.

A woman who was in the bus declined to identify herself and told the reporter to leave.

Neighbors told the Chronicle that the children typically looked unkempt and could often be spotted running around at night. “They always had dirty clothes on (and) no shoes, even in the winter,” said Gayla Payne.

Lindy Sanitz, who also lives nearby, said the bus had been on the lot for a long time, but she didn’t suspect anything was seriously wrong. “I’ve seen the one woman there off and on,” Sanitz said, adding that she occasionally saw one of the kids riding a bike. “They stayed pretty much over there.”

The children told welfare workers that they were home-schooled. A woman on the property told the agency she worked 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday but that she stayed with the children at night. “The aunt said that she does provide meals for them during the day,” Montgomery County Constable Rowdy Hayden told the TV station. Looking around the bus, “we didn’t see a lot of food readily available,” Hayden said. “One of the neighbors had told us earlier that from time to time she will bring food over for the children.” Splendora is 35 miles northeast of Houston.

MOTHER OF TEN NEGLECTED HER DAUGHTER, 5 – GIRL FOUND DEATH WITH INJURIES ‘FROM HER HEAD TO HER FEET

The mother of a five-year-old girl could be facing murder charges after the child was found dead in her home with cuts and bruises from her head to her feet.

Candy Flores was pronounced dead when paramedics arrived at her tiny southwest Houston apartment complex, where she lived with 14 others.

Her mother, Rosa Gonzalez, 41, told police she sustained the injuries while falling off the toilet.

Someone in the home called 911 and officers found the five-year-old on the floor of the only bedroom in the house. She had a contusion on her face and a cut on her nose. Paramedics tried to revive her but to no avail. A medical examiner said that Candy's injuries did not match up with what her mother told detectives as he found many injuries, some of which were fresh and some in different processes of healing.

During questioning, Houston Police say Rosa later admitted her daughter was being abused for some time. HPD homicide investigator Kevin Carr told the Houston Chronicle that Candy had bruises and scratches from her head to the bottom of her feet and injuries on her face, arms, chest and legs. 'The way the initial injury was described was not consistent with the other injuries observed,' he said. 'This one child in within this large family was targeted.'

Candy was also severely malnourished and had the body of a three-year-old rather than a five-year-old. Her rib cage was visible, her face shallow and she had dark circles around her eyes. Gonzalez had nine other children - two adult daughters and seven minors, who range in age from 21 to two months old.

Gonzalez's 21-year-old daughter was also living in the apartment with her four children, ranging in age from ten months to five years old, Carr said. CPS took the nine children into custody. They are interviewing them about their home life and trying to determine if they will stay with relatives for the time being.

It did not appear as if any other children had been abused but the family are known to have a history with Child protective services.

CHILDREN'S BODIES DISCOVERED UNDER THE BRIDGE

A divorced father who wanted to visit his 4-year-old daughter during the Chinese New Year was told by his ex-wife that she had died and was already buried.  

The gruesome remains were discovered on Feb 1 after he asked police in Xiangshui County, Jiangsu province to help him find the body of his dead daughter. He claimed his estranged wife had paid a hospital to handle the remains following her death.

 It turns out according to the local customs and superstitions, bodies of young children cannot be brought home and laid to rest underground or cremated. They must be buried in locations where traffic is convenient for their trip to their next lives easier. Otherwise, their spirits may linger around their homes due to homesickness, and new lives born in the same families will be possessed and haunted.

Police investigating the case tried to dig up the body under a bridge when they found to their surprise bodies of three other children.

The news and particularly gruesome pictures from the small village in eastern China’s Jiangsu province immediately captured the nation’s attention. Local media reported that results of autopsy of the four bodies showed while the 4-year-old girl who was named as Sun Ji'er, was beaten to death by her mother's boyfriend; Sun Hailang.

 

Sun Hailang has allegedly confessed to police that on Jan 21 he kicked the child in the back and abdomen because she was making too much noise, stopping her mother Wu Weiwei from going to work.

CHINA's MOST LOYAL DOG WAITS OUTSIDE FOR OWNER FOR 4 YEARS

A Chongqing dog, known as Wang Cai, has gone viral on the Chinese internet with 1.3 million views on Youku in less than 24 hours. Wang Cai has spent the last four years waiting outside the doors of a local bank from 9am until 5pm, moving little, not accepting food, and chasing away other dogs from his “roost.”

Nobody knows just when exactly Wang Cai began his daytime vigil in front of the Minsheng bank, but one street sweeper has seen the dog nearly everyday for the past two years. A bank security guard also reported seeing the dog, but noted that he seldom saw it waiting after 5pm. Many pedestrians who frequented the area assumed the dog was homeless until they noticed it was clean everyday, would wear fashionable winter “jackets” and had his hair trimmed in the summertime.

Wang Cai does indeed have a home, and his daily 9-5 vigil just so happens to coincide with his owner’s schedule, who works nearby. Wang Cai was once homeless, and was found wandering outside 4 years ago when he was adopted by his new family — a possible explanation for his outdoorsy personality.  Henceforth he accompanies his owner to work in the morning, waits stoically for 8 hours, and returns in the evening. The owner isn’t quite sure if Wang Cai is waiting for him or a previous master, but is satisfied with the situation regardless.

Chinese are regarding Wang Cai as a Sinofied Hachiko, the famous faithful Japanese Akita who waited outside the Shibuya Train Station in Odate for his deceased owner for nearly a decade. Though Hachiko died in 1935, his memory and testament to the faithfulness of dogs lives on — most recently in a 2009 Hollywood drama starring Richard Gere.

NANNY, 65, ABUSING TWIN BABY BOYS IN HER CARE - CAUGHT ON HIDDEN CAMERA

Alice Vesely was arrested after being caught on a ‘nanny cam’ abusing two babies in her care.

 The elderly nanny was seen slapping, kicking, punching and throwing around the two eight month old twins she was looking after.

The parents of the boys had installed the ‘nanny cam’ after finding suspicious bruises on one of the boys.

A doctor advised them to secretly install the camera without telling Vesely to see if she was responsible for the bruising.

When they later viewed footage they saw Vesely abusing the boys.

The video was turned over to police who charged Vesley with two counts of aggravated battery on a child.

It is not known how long Vesley had worked for the couple at their Illinois home.

The ‘nanny cam’ footage showed Vesely allegedly slapping, kicking, punching, smothering, grabbing, tossing, and recklessly lifting the twins by their arms and clothing, according to a police report.

The parents of the twins have not been named in the police report.
Vesley is being held on $300,000 bond.

MOTHER LEAVES NEWBORN BABY IN BATHTUB TO DROWN

 Patel, 32, from Lakeland, Florida was allegedly slapped one-year-old Ishan, when he started to crawl toward her & smacked him because she hated to be near him and wanted to discourage him from coming close to her.  

After getting him up from a nap she put him in the bath, which at the time was half full of water, and left him on his own. She says, she hated her baby son from the day he was born.

 Returning 10 minutes later to find the infant unconscious, she refused to do CPR even though she knew what to do. She instead dressed the child and took a bizarre drive around the area. With the child’s body in the car she went to nearby supermarket, then home, then to Ocala, then to Tampa International Airport. Patel knew her son was dead because he had turned ‘blue’ and was ‘cold to the touch.’

Patels’s husband, Rasesh Patel, had last seen his son alive at 7.20 am Thursday when he left to take the couple’s four-year-old daughter to preschool and go to work. 

 He attempted to phone home between 10.30 am and 12.30pm before returning home at 1.30pm to find them gone. That evening he called police to report his wife and son missing.  

Around 2am Friday morning she returned home and put the baby boy in his crib, telling her husband she drowned him. 

But when she heard him on the telephone to relatives she took off again for the airport telling her husband she would rather die than go to prison. She was arrested at the parking lot at Tampa International Airport.

WOMEN TRIED TO DROWN HER TWO DAUGHTERS, 5 AND 1, IN BATHTUB

 

  A one-year-old girl died and her five-year-old sister remains in critical condition after their mother allegedly tried to drown them in a baby bath in their Los Angeles home.

  The mother of the two girls, Lorna Valle, ‘snapped’ when she decided to try to drown her daughters Marian, 5, and Lindsay, 1.

Valle was stopped by her husband who returned to their south Los Angeles home from the grocery store around 7.30am Wednesday morning after going to pick up juice and milk for his daughters.

Both girls were not breathing and unconscious when police arrived and found them in the bathroom of the family’s converted garage. They were taken to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Marian remains there in extremely critical condition.

Witnesses said that ‘the little one’ was ‘in really bad shape’ and almost purple when police arrived.

The mother was arrested Wednesday evening on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. She remains in custody on $1.5million bail.

‘A neighbour said she told her that if anything happens to her, she would leave the girls to the father or to them,’ said Dina Ceballos.

‘She was asking for psychological help and she didn’t receive it. It’s a sad story. It’s a sad ending. She needs help.

Ms Ceballos was nearby at the time of the incident and heard the father scream ‘If I didn’t get out, my girls would still be alive! Why didn’t she kill herself instead of trying to kill my girls?’

Others also suspected mental issues, like neighbour Jennifer Houston who told The Los Angeles Times that the mother seemed ‘like she was disturbed’.

The name of the father has not been released, by another neighbour had good things to say about him.

‘He’s quiet. He’s the one who seems more adept,’ said Judy McCann.

‘He’s the one who had all his marbles.

‘She stays in the house. She never comes out.’
